General Counter Policies

Rental period

Minimum
 
 3 hours, 1 day, 7 days or 28 days depending on equipment.
 
Day Rate
 
24 hours. 8 hours of operating time.
 
Week Rate
 
 7 consecutive days to the same time. 40 hours of operating time.
 
4 Week Rate   4 consecutive weeks to the same time. 160 hours of operating time.

NOTE: RENT CHARGED FOR ALL TIME OUT.For you to get the best value for your money, return all items on or before the date and time DUE IN on your rental contract.

Identification



Existing Customers: A valid driver’s license is required for ALL rentals. A major credit card may be required as a second form of identification.

New Customers: 1. Driver’s License with current address and photo. 2. Current Phone #. 3.  Credit Card or Check Card. 4. Other information that may be required: work#, cell #, job address, etc.

Payment

Required at time rental item is picked up. If driver’s license does not show a local address, payment by credit card may be required (excluding open account customers). We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express.

Metered Items

Rates for rental items equipped with hour meters are based on 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, and 160 hours per month. Additional usage will be charged accordingly.

Damage Waiver

In order to provide a worry-free rental, Tuff Equipment Rentals, Inc. offers an optional damage waiver of 10% of the rental amount. The Damage Waiver protects the customer from the unforeseen cost of repairing accidental damage to the equipment. The Damage Waiver is automatically calculated into the rental invoice. It is non refundable. With acceptance of the Damage Waiver, the customer will not be required to pay any and all expenses of the damaged equipment up to the full cost of such equipment if purchased new. The Damage Waiver does not cover any loss or damage due to theft, misuse or abuse, unexplained loss, theft by conversion, unsecured equipment, or any loss due to the customer failing to care for the rental items with disregard to common sense care of such equipment.

Availability/Reservations

Please call for item availability. Reservations are welcome!

Our inventory is continually expanding to meet the needs of our customers. Please feel free to recommend equipment.

Pricing

Prices are subject to change. Please call for price quotes. All rental charges are for time out, whether used or not. If you encounter any operational problems seek assistance from management immediately. No credits or adjustments will be made unless management has given approval.

Delivery and Pick-up

Delivery and pickup are available at reasonable rates. Please verify the charge to the specific location requested. All rental items should be gathered in a single location convenient for pickup. If the customer prefers, they may pickup and return your rental items to our location.>

Responsibility

Responsibility for rental items remains with the customer from delivery to return. All items should be secured and protected from the weather. Additional charges for replacements are made for missing or damaged items.

Deposit

Deposits vary per item. Deposit refunded on return of rental item.
